Friedrich Kunath

Friedrich Kunath was born in Chemnitz, Germany in 1974 and lives in Los Angeles. He has exhibited widely including solo exhibitions at the Aspen Art Museum, CO; Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin; Kunsthalle Baden-Baden; Kunstverein Hannover; the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; and most recently at Modern Art Oxford, Oxford, UK. Group exhibitions include Life on Mars: the 55th Carnegie International, Pittsburgh and The World is Yours, Palazzo Grassi, Venice. Kunath shows with Blum&Poe in Los Angeles, Andrea Rosen in New York, BQ Gallery in Berlin, and White Cube in London. He is currently preparing for an upcoming solo exhibition at Andrea Rosen, opening March 2014.
