Kianja Strobert (b. 1980) lives and works in Hudson, NY. She received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2004 and an MFA from Yale University in 2006. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States, including at the Santa Monica Museum of Art and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. Her next solo show opens at The Studio Museum in Harlem in November 2014. Strobert is represented by Zach Feur Gallery and Tilton Gallery in New York.
