Samira Yamin

Samira Yamin was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1983. She received a dual BA in studio art and sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MFA from the University of California, Irvine. Yamin lives and works in Los Angeles. In 2013, Yamin had her debut solo museum exhibition at the Santa Monica Museum of Art. She is currently exhibiting at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles, Jan 25 – April 27, 2014.
